As a co-founder and general partner, Clay leads the Speedway Properties team. Clay earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University, graduating with distinction. He went on to earn his master’s degree in industrial engineering and engineering management from Stanford University. Prior to re-joining Speedway on a full-time basis, Clay worked with the Booz Allen & Hamilton consulting firm in New York City and the Hellman & Friedman investment banking firm in San Francisco. Clay is active in Lincoln, having served on dozens of community organization’s boards. He currently serves on the boards of Nebraska Young Presidents Organization, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Nebraska Humanities Council, Museum of Nebraska Art, and UNL-Sheldon.
Craig attended the University of Nebraska and studied architecture and marketing. Craig leads the design and construction team for Speedway Properties. Creative design and innovative renovations have made some of the Speedway properties the most unique in the market. Craig has served on various boards including the Haymarket Development Corporation Board.
Mike joined Speedway Properties in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel. He has over 35 years of experience in the telecommunications, software, real estate and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Speedway, Mike was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Interactive Intelligence, Inc., where he led a successful initial public offering (IPO). He also served as Vice President-Treasurer and Secretary of Aliant Communications, which was acquired by Alltel for $1.9 Billion. Mike is a member of Financial Executives International, a Board member and Treasurer of the Community Health Endowment of Lincoln and is a Past President of Woods Charitable Fund, Inc.
Ken joined Speedway Properties in 2004. As Director of Operations, Ken is involved in all areas including project development, construction, leasing, maintenance and daily operations. Ken earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural economics from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and has worked in the facilities/property management field for over 40 years. His 27 year history as the Administrator of the state building division has given him an expansive knowledge of building management, construction, operations, and project development. Ken works with governmental officials, architects, engineers, contractors and tenant to successfully complete development and renovation projects. Ken is active in several business associations including the Downtown Lincoln Association Executive Board and has been a member of the Nebraska Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Review Board for over 20 years.
Adam joined Speedway Properties in January of 2015 as an Operations Manager. Adam earned his bachelors of History from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and has worked in the facilities/property management field for over 23 years. His previous experience as an Operations Chief in the United States Marine Corps has given him an expansive knowledge in building management and development. Adam works with architects, engineers, contractors and tenants to successfully complete improvement and renovation projects. Adam is active in several business associations including the Lincoln Rotary # 14, LIBA, West "O" and the Marine League.
Tom attended the University of Nebraska and earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Tom earned his salesperson’s license in 1997 and broker’s license in 2000. Tom has over 12 years experience in property management, construction management, sales and leasing. His experience and knowledge in the real estate industry give him the ability to assist with customer’s leasing or brokerage needs. Tom is active in the community, including involvement with City Impact and the Association of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs.
Brett joined Speedway Properties in 2004 and is involved in leasing and acquisitions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from the University of Nebraska and previously worked for Runza National and MDS Pharma Services (now Celerion). He is a licensed real estate broker and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute. He is actively involved in the Lincoln community, having served on several local non-profit boards including the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, Lincoln Literacy and the Downtown Lincoln Association. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Nebraska CCIM chapter, Junior Achievement of Lincoln, and the Cornhusker Council of the Boy Scouts of America
Paige joined the Speedway Properties team in 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance and minors in Economics, Management, and Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She received her salesperson license from the Nebraska Real Estate Commission shortly after starting at Speedway Properties. She is currently involved in the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln West and Junior Achievement.
Kent joined the Speedway Properties team in July of 2012. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Prior to joining Speedway he worked 17 years for The Salvation Army as Operations Director overseeing programs, building maintenance and fundraising. He is very involved in the community non-profit sector helping to organize many community events.
Jo joined Speedway Properties in 2017. She has a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In 1997 Jo received her real estate license. Jo has earned her GRI, (Graduated Residential Institute) and CRS, (Certified Residential Specialist). She has been active for over 20 years in residential, multi family, acreages, and commercial sales. Her experience and knowledge in real estate industry gives her the ability to assist in the property management department. She has been active in Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Nebraska Mentors, and Meals on Wheels.
Eric has been with Speedway Properties since 2008 and has over 20 years of experience in the construction/facilities field. He supervises the facilities team and oversees small construction projects. Eric attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1992 to 1997.
Bob joined the Speedway Properties team in 2014. Bob earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska – Omaha. Prior to joining Speedway Properties, Bob spent 6 years with ConAgra Foods.
Terri has been with Speedway Properties since September of 2000 and has over 25 years experience in the accounting field. She supervises all accounts payable and receivable activity and handles all the accounting functions for Speedway Properties. Prior to coming to Speedway Properties Terri spent 17 years working for Lawlor’s Sporting Goods in their accounting department.
Alison came to Speedway Properties in 2008. She is the executive assistant to company leaders and takes on a wide range of responsibilities including schedule administration, activity organization, account management, meeting coordination, and maintenance/support of employees technological needs. Alison earned an Associate’s degree in agriculture business and Bachelor’s degree in business. Prior to coming to Speedway Properties Alison spent time with One Source at Bush Gardens, Pine Valley Nursery and Landscaping, and Aspen Builders gaining invaluable experience in hard work, customer service and organizational skills.
Jessie joined Speedway Properties in May of 2016. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska- Kearney. She currently manages accounts payable and assists with accounts receivable.
Zoe started at Speedway Properties in 2017 and is currently attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln majoring in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies. She plans to graduate in December of 2018. Before joining Speedway Properties she was the Education Coordinator at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts and taught knitting and sewing classes. She currently volunteers at the YWCA as a volunteer coordinator with the SMART Girls afterschool program.
